The internal structure contains two steel belts which are reinforced with Twaron covering for durability and protection against wear and tear, experienced as a result of stress generated from extreme performance driving.

The Michelin Super Sport ZP inboard sidewall primarily supports the implementation of Zero Pressure Technology by enabling driving even when the tire is completely flat, and evenly distributing torque generated during driving. The outboard sidewalls are comparatively more malleable in nature for enhancing driving experience and allowing tight cornering. The asymmetric tire tread pattern, center ribs with notches and closely gapped outer shoulder creates the perfect combination for maintaining dry traction. Enhanced wet traction and safeguard against aquaplaning is achieved through the lateral notches and wide circumferential grooves which drain water out of treads.
