Continental CrossContact LX25 Tire
This tire is a replacement for the CrossContact LX20 that is installed on many SUVs and CUVs as an original equipment tire. The new tire offers major improvements in tire durability and overall comfort.
Continental has infused the EcoPlus+ Technology in the LX25 which has enhanced not only the tread life but also the fuel efficiency of the tire. The tire can be used in snowy conditions as well without fear of losing grip. Likewise, Comfort Ride Technology increases the comfortability and handling.
Continental TerrainContact H/T Tire
It is an all-season, highway tire that can be used by light trucks and full-sized SUVs. They incorporate the latest Continental technologies with TractionPlusTM Technology being the standout feature. The new Technology allows the tires to be more durable while providing a remarkably lower braking distance.
Moreover, the tires load capacity has also increased, allowing them to haul more load over than before. The tire is available in different sizes just like the Continental CrossContact LX25.
VikingContact 7 Winter Tire
Although not suitable for the UAE environment, this tire is a worthy mention. It is designed for Scandinavian winters and is the ideal choice while driving on icy or snow-covered roads. The tread design drives the way away from the tires reducing the risk of hydroplaning.
A few variants of the tire will be equipped with the ContiSeal Technology, meaning that the tires will patch up themselves in case of holes in the tread. Currently, the maximum repairable hole is 5 millimetres.
